Golden Morning Before Mist

A beautiful sunrise, and a beautiful sunny morning.  Mist rolled in by lunchtime, lifted again, but come down thick tonight.

Up at 5am again, another early shift in the airport.  A day working on the check-in desk.  All flights on time, apart from the last two, which got delayed with the mist, but finally landed. Popped by Laura's on my way home, Dave Ramsey and Brian Wylie were in for a cuppa with mam and dad.  I've been working in the shop this evening, really busy as usual. Walkies with Sammy, then feet up.

After the beautiful weather we've had lately, it seemed like it was continuing to shine for another day, well it did for the morning.  Trouble with island life in the North, a few good days and we have to pay the price, mist is the summer treat for that.  Thick pea soup out there tonight, fingers crossed it clears by the morning, or it'll be a day of disruption for passengers tomorrow.  Glad I stopped off on my way to work, briefly enjoyed the golden glow from the morning sunrise.  Looking over Casho, Easter Quarff.
