Derelict

We started the day eating breakfast at our favorite diner. A long brisk walk followed. Then groceries, a clothes drop off at a local charity, and a gas up of car plus two lawn mower cans • After all was done MrsP suggested a late lunch/early dinner at our local pub • Of course I agreed • We parked at the boat landing and walked over for a pint of Sam Adams Summer Ale. Ooo-La-La, it was yummy!! There’s nothing tastier than a draft beer, and the first of the season • After lunch we walked along the river where numerous double-crested cormorants dashed by, all heading upstream; a couple of mature eagles soared and circled overhead • Best of all? Rain was originally forecasted, but not a drop fell…we cheered clouds only :) • Cheers!
