I’ve been quiet because the pain got silly to the point where today the physiotherapist said she didn’t think she could treat me without a doctor’s agreement.
 
By the end of the day, I’d secured a funding package from BUPA to cover the specialist I wanted (a consultant at the Birmingham Royal Orthopaedic who I would have struggled to get referred to directly) an MRI and other minor tests.
 
I see him next Friday and I believe the wait for the MRI will be about a week at the hospital I’m using – the local NHS hospital is currently 15 weeks for urgent referrals (as my sister found out).
 
Anyway, the photo – in April 25% of the station car park became EV only (and you must pay for a charge to use the space).  As you can see it appears to have been a good decision.
