Day at a Time

St Lolan's Church And Burial Ground

Otherwise known as Kincardine Graveyard . A very old and ruinous church within the Blair Drummond estate near Doune. We had a walk of only about 2.5 miles in the woods which are looking fine. The bluebells are nearly over but there are lots of other flowers coming out. According to Merlin there were: blackbird, wren, robin, chaffinch, chiffchaff, willow warbler, blackcap, jackdaw, greenfinch, blue and great tit voices. I saw a pair of buzzards soaring high above us. My new walking sandals did well.

We had lunch in Doune and won't need much at all this evening. Fish and chips at lunchtime is a bit of a sinker.

The weather is glorious and it looks good for the weekend. Wishing you a good one.
