Allium

It was good to get home yesterday. The last two miles took about 45 minutes because of roadworks outside Stirling. The garden has blossomed whilst we were away. This is such a good time of year for flowers. The blues and whites, pinks and purples are my favourites. I love the alliums - definitely not subtle. My neighbour has been watering assiduously and most things have survived. Or indeed thrived. 

My son and grandson will be arriving soon. They're staying overnight. Our daughter will be visiting too. I'm sure we will be outside for the better part of the day. The weather is glorious. 

There's a lot to do in the garden but I'm happy to take it slowly. And I will try to return to being a better blip friend soon.
