Sunset over Whitstable

Friday started with BP and home for eggs on toast.  OH was playing golf so I pottered and did some gardening but it was a bit hot for too much (nice to type that after the awful Winter/Spring).  I emptied more of the tulips and did some weeding - I also sent a garden video to a friend in Bermuda and promised to send one a month showing progress during the summer.

We decided on a late afternoon trip to the coast but didn't bother with sun beds, just chairs and beer and wine and knives and forks.  We found a lovely spot behind a breaker and it was really warm and sunny.  I read my book for an hour or so before OH went off to get fish and chips.  What a nice way to spend a Friday afternoon/evening.
