This bee seems to like my mystery flower - a reverse image search suggests it is Camassia which is originally from Noth America and a member of the asparagus family.

My Dad & Mo came for lunch today and A  came up as well. It was nice having three generations around the table.

A was originally going back to Glasgow tonight but decided to invite her flatmate up and stay over so we can go aurora hunting tonight (assuming the alert stays on red and it does get too cloudy).

We caught glimpses on camera last night - both greens and purples and (strangely) looking south east rather than north. However by the time it was dark enough it had started to get cloudy. We shall see tonight - it will be fun having  A and her flatmate to stay regardless.
