Labernum

While a cloudy start to the day, there are some sunny spells. Set to be very warm today. The lunchtime walk starts off under milky skies. It is amazing just how everything has sprung in to life. This labernum on Cockmylane wasn't even in flower a few days ago.  

It wouldn't be Friday without coffee and cake from the café. The clouds have dispersed and we have blue skies. The warmest day of the week. Still hazy views though, but a tad more colourful than yesterday. On the walk back through the park, I get a nice photo of a Small Tortoiseshell butterfly, Extra,  that had landed pretty close to me. There were orange tip butterflies, but they didn't stay still long enough for me to get a good photo of them.
