Tree Of Light

My favourite tree is the Copper Beach.

Pat and I planted this particular tree in ‘The Policies’ thirty years ago and it has grown very well. Of course, it still has a few more decades to reach maturity.

Our damaged trees have now been removed and the work will begin to tidy up the grounds and replant this coming autumn.

Today’s entry was taken at 8:36 p.m. with the sun behind the trunk.

This year the fresh green leaves of the trees and shrubs seems particularly bright. We are all enjoying it after a fairly damp and wet winter.
