Picnic At Glen Isla

The weather has been warm and sunny recently. 

Pat suggested she make up a picnic lunch and that we drive up to Glen Isla.

We did drive up to Glen Isla and enjoyed our picnic. As the photos show the water level of the River Isla is quite low. Quite different from winter when this could be a raging torrent.

As usual we drove up on one route and returned by another through Kirriemuir. No signs of the infamous Ball or Peter Pan though.

Mildly surprised to find that the source is surrounded by a significant lack of signal which affected Apple Car Play.

However I had printed off a section of the Ordnance Survey Map of the area. I also took a wide brimmed hat to avoid further sunburn.
