We sat at the top of a hill at 01:30. Nothing but light cloud and a lovely view. We left around 2am. The Aurora watch app informs me that it went red between 2am and 7am. Red is a good possibility of seeing something with or without the aid of a camera across the whole of the UK. Bedtime came a tad too soon methinks
