Albertine outside my back door

I've lived in my current house for 22yrs : the longest I've lived anywhere. One of the great pleasures of living here has been my garden. It's not very large : the usual norwich terrace city garden. This time of year it's stuffed to gunnels with bloom. Lot's of Roses, all of them chosen for their perfume and colour. I can see this Albertine from my kitchen window. On a warm summer day like today, with the back door open, the perfume wafts in: what a joy. If we have rain the blooms quickly fall, but such beauty for a moment!
