Summer Day

I had to work for most of the day, apart from a short walk with P in the afternoon. We walked past this red horse-chestnut on our way, and I grabbed a quick blip - I love chestnut flowers, and they are almost finished already.

The afternoon was very warm and humid, it almost felt too hot for a walk. The weather forecast promised showers and possibly thunderstorms, and we were hoping for refreshing rain, but it stayed sunny and dry.
