Seat of Reflection

This lovely seat in Axford is actually a war memorial, dedicated to the residents of the village who perished in the first and second World Wars (more)

It's particularly considerate to create a memorial that offers space and shelter to reflect.

A busy day checking logistics with  a  crew mate, truing an aero wheel and building the new wheel I'll be using on some tours that start later in the week. A road test with new tubeless setup was prudent, as well as a quick clean and reset of all the bearings. The often mud-splattered bike scrubbed up well so tomorrow is for packing abd checking the routes are all loaded.

To do list is thankfully getting more ticks than new entries.
