Broken Branches

Still so many broken branches left to deal with.  This one is a bit tucked away behind the house in the big, old lilac bush.  For Molly, a broken branch still has a function though and makes a good perch.  Broken branches and other brush can also make sanctuary brush piles and I have several around the back edge of my fields, near wood lines.  They create habitats for all sorts of creatures.  If you are interested in the concept, here's a link.  Off to Massachusetts this morning for my little birthday get-away.  I'm looking forward to it.  Comments may be a bit sparse for the next few days.
