Oh Bovver

This has happened many times since last October but I have always managed to put everything back in place pretty quickly, and in the better instances, only the nut has come adrift and just needed screwing back onto the bar.

So what is 'this'? Nose piercing!

Well, 10 minutes into last night's shift the nut fell off & the bar (see blip) swiftly followed and I couldn't get it back in place. Eldest offered some reassurance on the phone and later, Bestie rolled her eyes when told it had fallen out yet again ;-D

This afternoon eldest tried & failed to pop it back in, thinking that it had started to heal. A thin ear stud went in eventually but that wouldn't be a good idea to leave in so have resigned to leaving things be for now.

Am due to give blood again in June so may have it redone afterwards and try a ring instead in the hope it'll stay put.

Am (temporarily!) going to miss it. Have grown quite attached to my nose piercing despite it often becoming the opposite!
