Millpond

I decided I’d spend the morning around Orford and then perhaps go elsewhere for lunch (sounding familiar?). I walked down to the pier and spent some time taking photos of the view - it was as calm as a millpond and very quiet, just mesmerising. Then into the little cafe overlooking the boatyard for a coffee, and after that a walk along the river in the other direction to yesterday. By the time I’d walked back, it was already lunchtime so I headed back to the house and grabbed something there. Then back to the riverfront - why go elsewhere, I decided, when I could just potter around here. So that’s exactly what I did.

Clearing up this evening and packing as I’m back off home tomorrow.
