Eurovision

We planned to leave by 11am so we could meet our son at Bruar at 12.30 and wonder if wonders we were on the road by 10.40. It was just as well because traffic was pretty busy and we didn’t arrive into Bruar until 12.45. Fortunately the car park was relatively quiet so we were able to park up the caravan and car and head over to the courtyard to grab a bite to eat. We managed to find a table easily too and enjoyed a tasty lunch in the sunshine.

Our son handed over Henry’s food and headed home and we got the boys organised to head to Inverness. Phin normally travels in the boot and we tried to restrain Henry there too but he managed to clamber over and lie on the coats on the back seat. He’s not a great traveller but it wasn’t too traumatic a journey.

We arrived on site and got sorted out before heading down to my brother’s house for a barbecue. Lovely evening eating tasty food and watching a bit of Eurovision. We took the dogs for a quick walk after dinner and Phin and Henry had fun chasing a ball. It was obviously still too hot for them as Phin was pretty overheated when we got back to the house. A wet towel helped cool him down and he was fine after twenty minutes..

We headed back to the caravan to watch the results and enjoyed the spectacle. Poor Olly.

Backblipped Thursday for Saturday.
