Guess what...

...started the day with a stroll along Culdaff beach. It was a bit showery again...but that wee smirry stuff that you don't feel. Only realised that it actually was quite wet when I saw the difference in colour on my trouser leg between the bit under my jacket and the exposed part.

The boys didn't give a hoot though...they were in their trunks and rash tops and in and out of the water...it was wet but mild:-) Eilidh didn't give a hoot either...she was holed up in the back of the car with her iPod on and her nose in a book...I'm spotting a theme here:-(

Eventually, persuaded the boys back to the car for a spot of lunch. By the time we had eaten our pieces it was dry again and we ended up spending the rest of the afternoon on the beach. Beach number 2 at Culdaff to be precise...a great wee bay with rocks to climb on and betwen too:-) Es ventured out of the car about 4pm...and read her book on the beach!

Popped into the car and headed over to the Moville, Greencastle, Shrove side of the peninsula via the Inishowen 100 route...nice scenic route that hugs the coast...and indulged in some fish n' chips from Carey's in Greencastle...great fish and chips all made to order:-)

Wee fella hadn't had enough beach and park today so stopped back off at Culdaff before heading home:-)

All in all a grand day:-)
