Dentdale

The weather today (my birthday!) wasn't sunny until late afternoon but we had a lovely day anyway.  We drove over high moorland to Muker and then down to Hawes where we had coffee.  Then we went on to the village of Dent and had a lovely brunch in a cafe.  I took this from the car as we drove from Dent to Sedbergh and then back to the cottage.  A nice round trip and a nice Victoria sponge birthday cake, covered in butter icing and hundreds and thousands, for tea.  Mr Sk spotted it in a bakery in Hawes and it was delicious.
