Day in Dublin

Early swim and promenade walk

Then bus into Dublin to meet 2 friends who share my love of art for The Turning Heads Exhibition at National Gallery . Also to see Vermeer’s Writing A Letter. We spent an enjoyable 2 hours mooching around.

It was lunchtime so we thought we would head to Cafe en Seine. Then Susan said ‘why don’t we go into the Masonic Lodge in Molesworth Street to their formal dining room and take a look at their small museum’. Well this was a revelation. I’ve wanted to visit there for ages so in we went. We had a great wander around and if I had more time, I would describe our visit. Then lunch and more chat and a lot of laughing. Yes a lot of laughing. Bus home and tasty tea. Feet up now and plan to watch ‘Notorious’ at 9
