St Oswald’s Way Day 5

A mere 10.5 miles walked today. My foot is really hurting - hoping that a light day will mean our penultimate day with higher mileage will be ok. Cooler and cloudy today but the colours were still stunning. Miles of empty sandy beaches, glorious birdsong all around us. Most beautiful scenery so far. Dunstanburgh castle in the distance in my blip. Stunning! Ended up in Seahouses for our evening stop. Fabulous fish and chips and several pints of excellent local ale to dull the pain!
