From Red Bank

A glorious start to the day. Sunrise is before 5 am but I didn’t bother getting up that early as the sunrises below the surrounding mountains. This is probably the best weather of the week as it is all due to get wetter from tomorrow. I put up the drone to show how Grasmere sits in a natural amphitheatre, surrounded by tall fells.

After breakfast we took ourselves off to Buttermere and walked the lake path. A very pleasant temperature for the walk in intermittent sunshine. Then dropped into Keswick for an hour before heading back to the hotel.
