Chained...

I really quite enjoy getting down to the nitty gritty with the bike when I've got the time.

Unusually with the tyres I'm on, I had a puncture to fix. So whilst I had the wheel off I decided to go the whole hog and strip the wheel, see if I could fix my wetness creaking problem.

It was really interesting getting down to the free wheel, bearings and cassette and getting comfortable how it's all put together. This chain is probably in need of replacing but today it was just getting a wee spruce up and re-oiling to get it back on it's nice shiney rear cassette.
