after taking my car - for its weekly tiny - jaunt around the neighborhood - i scouted the community garden - to see what might be new - with the warmer temps - we’ve been having - there has been much activity - going on with people - getting their garden plots organized - fertilized and planted with - all things vegetation and - flowering so there was - much to investigate

to my surprise and delight - i discovered that irises - were budding in one - garden plot which i had - noticed from my windows the other day - however one lone bud - had chosen to open - early standing as a yellow - beacon in that sea - of iris buds, making it…
