A windswept day

After going to sleep the night before with the wind whistling around the house I woke up to the same. I’m always grateful to experience this special place in all weathers. So I wrapped up in waterproofs and knitwear for a bracing windswept beach wander. I came back round via the village for a visit to the Heritage Centre, always a fascinating insight into life on the island in days gone by. A cuppa at their cafe, then it was home to weather watch for the evening from under a blanket.
