I took a different and longer route to the Palace Broadway through the back streets of Darlington. On the footpath around the corner from here someone had written “My Deprived Childhood”.

One For The Road (Germany, 2023) didn’t have great reviews. Two out of two German films at the festival have revolved around alcoholism.

I also passed both of last night’s pubs.
