Quod oculus meus videt

Cloggerby Rigg

We left the Lakes this morning, but rather than heading straight home we planned to drop in on our nephew and his wife at tea time.  That meant we had some time available and we drove through the Yorkshire Dales close to the route of the Coast to Coast Path that I'd walked in 2010.

As we left Keld and drove through Angram we came across this view toward Thwaite and Muker.  The meadows are colouring up with flowers though with the recent weather, I am sure it could look even more colourful.  This drop was at the quaintly named Cloggerby Rigg.

Afterwards we headed down to Sheffield and spent an hour with the family before the remainder of the trip home.
