Cacophony of foxglove bells

Continued with the catching up that always accompanies a long stint away. Washing, shopping, menus, garden, putting stuff away.

While we’ve been away there’s been a calamity with one of our compost bins. It’s gone sour. Yuk! No idea why, never happened before. And the slugs and snails have had a good go at all my brassicas.

It’s a Saturday night! Enjoyed listening to Radio Orkney’s sessions at the Orkney Folk Festival that’s on this weekend. Plenty going on all over the islands with many events in Stromness. I wonder if Iain@Creel and CMC will be attending
