Oh I do like to be beside the seaside...

It truly felt like Summer this weekend. In fact I can't remember that last time it felt so Summery.

After the photoshoot yesterday, we went to a family barbeque and sat outside until almost midnight. No additional jumpers, fleeces or cardigans were required long after the sun had set.

Today we had a lazy morning and then decided to head off to the seaside. Our nearest sandy beach is almost an hours drive through some very windy roads but it was well worth it once we got there. I actually managed to read 2 whole chapters of a book whilst the children played frisbee, football & shell collecting with daddy!

We headed home around 5pm but stopped of for a refreshing drink at a local pub with a fabulous beer garden. Once home, the paddling pool was too tempting for Little Miss to resist & had been warmed by the days sun, so we let her have a splash about until bedtime.

Someone had better sleep well tonight! I will that's for sure!
