Beneath Biscay

Stargate

Well we did eat last night in the Puerta de la Estrella (Star Gate) restaurant. We didn't get whisked down a worm-hole to a distant galaxy, but the food was very good. A big bowl of gazpacho, which I'm addicted to, especially when the weather is hot. Also some Torta del Casar cheese. It's a soft runny cheese, local to the Cáceres region.

This morning we wandered around a bit until we found a cafe for breakfast, then we set off for the five and a half hour drive from Cáceres to Gijón.
