I've been without sauerkraut for a few weeks,  so I made a batch this morning and it seems to be starting to ferment quicker now it's warmer. Hanging the washing out, I watched a buzzard overhead!

After lunch I went for a local walk and, since returning I'm feeling much better than yesterday. 

Since I decided to cancel my subscription to Zoe earlier this year I've saved a lot of recipes, both from the Zoe app and elsewhere, to the Paprika app. I don't like to print them out until I've tested them and know I'll want to make them again. Tonight's dinner is one I'll print - aubergine, roasted with miso and ginger, chili, carrot, spring onion, edamame beans and brown rice with the rest of the miso/ginger mix, coriander and lime juice, topped with toasted cashews. Scrumptious! Next time I'll probably use beans or chickpeas instead of the rice, it'll up the fibre content.

If you're interested there's a documentary on Netflix, Hack Your Health, The Secrets of Your Gut. I watched it today and found it very good and with no mention of Zoe!
