Early this morning there were a lot of whatsapp messages flying to and fro, and a lot of checking of different weather apps. In the end I messaged a friend who lives on the edge of Sheffield opposite Stanage to ask her to look out of the window! It was looking very like rain...

One member decided to rest his injured elbow.
One member went cycling instead.
One member opted to stay at home.
Two members went climbing anyway.
And I decided to do today's Rambler's walk from Alrewas and invited Fi along, since it was in an area quite close to where she lives. The photo is of her back as we walked.

The two who went climbing found it was too wet at Stanage and swapped to Birchen Edge instead.
