Just perfect

We are having a really good week of it. What with the blipmeet with Hrubieszowianka in the sunshine yesterday, and a trip up to Stirling today, in still more sunshine, and a blipmeet to look forward to on Friday. It's just one social whirl!!

Anyway, the reason for the trip into the Hills today was to visit the recycling depot to dump some electronic stuff. At present it's free, but who knows how long that's going to last.

Afterwards we wanted to explore the Stirling Linear Park a little, so took a wander around the Woorabinda Reserve lake. The lake was once a railway dam, but now it's a haven for some lovely plants and birds.

This particular bird is a female fairywren, (Malurus cyaneus) a new one for me to Blip, which is always nice. We also saw silver-eyes (wax-eyes), crescent honey eaters, the usual water birds, a small puppy, and some blokes sailing their model yachts on the lake.
