Tricky!!

Tricky little sods, these sundews.

The Rower and I had such a wonderful time yesterday, we thought we would extend the experience and pop up to the Belair Park this afternoon. Not such a good idea as it turned out. The weather is glorious, and it's school holidays. Go figure!

Every man, and his dogs, and his children and their footballs seemed to be on our favourite track. Add to that numerous joggers, hikers, and not to mention photographers ( I have to include ourselves in the mix), it was a bit like main street on a Friday afternoon.

The sundews are in full flower right now. You would think that they'd get everything they need from eating hapless insects, but they have these lovely little flowers as well, presumably so that the insects can pollinate them before being eaten.

The Rower was lucky enough to get a shot with no people in it!!
