Quintessentially British: The Country Pub

We Brits do enjoy trips out to country pubs. This is the Red Lion in Hunningham which is about 5 miles from Leamington Spa and Warwick. There has been a pub here since the 1600s and it stands alongside a 14th century stone bridge that spans the River Leam. The beer garden leads down to the riverside and it is a lovely place to sit out and enjoy a drink and/or a meal in the summer. In the winter it is cosily warmed by log fires. The River Leam is prone to flooding at this point and the pub has been flooded out several times over the last 15 years.
