July Challenge - Door/Greensleeves

Day 10 of HeartFreek's July daily challenge - Door
and TerriG's July Song Titles challenge - Greensleeves

Sorry to disappoint mbox - no sewing in tonight's blip.

Mr and Mrs Woodman are members of the well known re-enactment society, the Sealed Wood-knot, currently they are rehearsing for a drama based around Henry VIII and his six wives, Mr Woodman plays Henry, while Mrs Woodman plays all 6 wives. Henry is reputed to have written Greensleeves for Anne Boleyn, although some dispute this - both in that greensleeves was a name for a prostitute (from the green grass marks on her clothing) and that it wasn't written until the Elizabethan era.

They both enjoy rehearsing although Mrs Woodman does tend to get over-excited and lose her head a couple of times during the performance (sorry).

They use the doorway as a stage so that Henry, seen sat next to Catherine Parr, who survived, behind them are Catherine of Aragon and Anne of Cleves, who were divorced, to one side are Anne Boleyn and Catherine Howard, minus their heads and at the rear of them is Jane Seymour who died shortly after giving birth.
