Late evening sunshine in Mote Park

After a spring vegetable stir fry using vegetables from the allotment we went on our customary evening stroll, this time around the nearby Mote Park. I was thinking that today's blip had not presented itself until we came to this veiw across Maidstone towards the North Downs.

The rest of the day had been occupied in completing lots of small jobs, the sort of things you do every day - putting up bunting and a decorative coathanger in the porch, clipping a neighbour's overhanging hedge, a swim and watering at the allotment.

Another task was to deal with exploding bottles of elderflower champagne. Got back from the allotment to a strong smell of elderflower and 3 shattered swing top bottles strewn all over the garage. So, after burping all the bottles and letting the floor dry out I had to sweep the garage clear of shards of glass. You can see the deadly brew in the kitchen here.
