An hour at Fowlesheugh South of Aberdeen this afternoon. Plenty to photograph, but the result, on reaching home, was not as good as I wanted. A lot of focus blur, not quite sure why, but I have some ideas to check out. And the 'continuous' didn't work so well - no updraft for the birds to hang on the wind and stay still enough for me!

Still, another hour of learning was well spent - and the birds through the binoculars were stupendous. A couple more weeks and the chicks will be taking to the sea. Mustn't miss that!
