Surfer...

...not too promising a start to the day...it was WET!

We've been holidaying in Ireland for about seven years now and this morning has to be the wettest we have seen...on the weather front we've always been fairly lucky. OK the sun isn't always splitting the trees but we always mange to get out and about. Very rarely have we had to opt for an indoor activity like we had to do at the start of today.

We headed across to the Maritime Museum and Planetarium in Greencastle, unfortunately the Planetarium isn't working just now, "...sure, it's worn out and we're waiting on a new one." :-) Regardless we were able to spend a wee while in there looking at the Maritime exhibits, and some exhibits around WWII and the migration of Irish people to America. It's a good wee local Museum and the Barmy Army enjoyed it...the Planetarium would have been the icing on the cake though.

After leaving Greencastle we moved on to Ballyliffin again...the wee fella wasn't all that happy with the substitution of Culdaff last night he wanted a wee shot on the boat at Ballyliffin and sure enough by the time we hit Ballylifin, the rain had cleared. We spent a good couple of hours here, the boys playing in the park, Mr R and the Weim had a walk while I read my book and watched the boys...then Mr R watched the boys and I had a walk...Es was n the car reading her book...still...although she is on to a different book now!

We all spent a wee while watching this fella too:-)

Dinner tonight was take-away Pizza courtesy of the Gleneely Pizza...yum yum.
