I had a Lift class at the gym this morning, a first for me. The room was full although I was the only old lady one over 50 40, and while I ended the 45 minute class exhausted, I held my own against the youngsters. I enjoyed it and have booked again for next Monday!
Home and an early lunch before getting the bus into town for my opticians appointment. They did all the usual tests, both before and after I had drops put in, and then the optometrist had a good look inside both eyes. Apparently floaters become more common as you get older, but there's nothing to worry about with this one and eventually my brain will learn to ignore it. It's rather annoying at the moment. I was cheeky and asked if I could take a photo :-)
The journey home was a bit of a trial. I'd forgotten my sunglasses, it was bright and sunny and of course my pupils were unable to shrink. I kept my eyes shut for the duration.
