Day Four in Kos

Introducing our wonderful bar man Spartak.

He really is a star & has been looking after our every need. He's never without a cheery word & a beaming smile, & come apre-sun bathing/ pre dinner gorge fest time, a cold drink at the bar is so very welcome.

We cycled into Kos Town again this morning & spent our time wandering around the main square, the streets & shops, & a beautiful white, cross-adorned church. We happened upon another child, a little boy, singing on some steps.

Come the evening, it was quiz night!.. Enter, team 'Do You Want To Play!?' (after our very tiny, very keen entertainment organiser, who would utter this in a high-pitched squawk throughout the day when recruiting for activities, much to everybody's pleasure). The rounds were all music & covered a variety of European-friendly questions. Unfortunately this didn't seem the case when the team's answers we were marking totalled a tragic 8/21 (they were 2 slightly elder German women, if that would have had anything to do with it?!). However, we were more fortunate & managed to win the quiz, having made the final 4 with 18/21, & then winning it on the bonus question!

Our prize!?... you guessed it... cocktails of our choice from behind the bar, prepared by our top man. We asked him to prepare his best two. We still have no idea what went into either??? Gin, vodka, engine coolant??.. we didn't ask.

Are you Spartak enough?!
