I walked up to the allotment, mainly to pick the peas, but did some digging as well. Two of my allotment neighbours were there and were given some lettuces, and I've gained some kale in exchange.

I dug up a few potato plants that have died, found a couple of ant's nests in the digging as well as a few tatties. The rest of the plants haven't flowered yet.

So I brought home potatoes, kale, mangetout peas, beet leaves and lettuce. Not bad! I've got another Lift class later, so I'd better recover from the digging.
