I felt fine when I woke up, just as well because I was booked onto a Lift class at the gym at 9.15am. I use the lightest weights, 1.25kg on each end of the bar, but better than using heavier ones and not being able to do the reps. I give myself alternatives to any lunges or jump squats, which would be risky for my knee. The arm stuff I find reasonably easy, which isn't surprising I suppose, so perhaps I should try the next weight up 2.5kg.
I'd just finished my lunch when my hairdresser texted me to see if I could come early, I could. I don't usually have my hair washed, preferring a dry trim, but today it needed washing. It was a nice surprise to find that there was a new chair which massaged your back while your head was also massaged! I could've sat there for ages.
I'm really enjoying cooking recipes from the Bold Beans cookbook, they're scrummy! Photo in extra of Honey Harissa Carrots with Whipped Feta, modified by me to include courgette and mangetout peas, but the feta was omitted because I didn't have any! I dont actually use the Bold Beans brand of beans, theyre a bit expensive, but I'm working my way through the book :-)
