Toots in Solitude

Ah Sweet wee Hare

I was so busy pointing my camera at a hare away in the distance, a speck on the horizon, that I didn't notice this fellow right at my feet until he was ready to scamper off to the delights and depths of the barley in the adjoining field.
I wonder how long he'd been looking at me and furthermore, I wonder what he was making of me?

I was so relieved at a remission from the suns heat as light clouds filtered it. I found air again and felt a little more human.
