A walk with my Ramblers from Staunton Harold garden centre today, I thought it would be okay for my knee, relatively flat and not too long, and it was. An enjoyable walk ending with a nice cup of tea!

I drove home and popped into my local Tesco for a few things, but on leaving I pulled the handbrake on... and found.... absolutely nothing. Oops. It's happened before a few years ago when the garage found the cable clogged with mud. Today I've no idea why it's happened. My drive slopes down to the busy road, so I parked in front of the house, with the tyre against the curb, and in gear as well, and there it can stay. I don't need it until Saturday as I've cancelled tomorrow's gym class.

I rang my usual garage in town, but they're short staffed and really busy, he said I could bring it in and leave it, they'd do it when they could.  Fair enough, they've been very good to me in the past, but I'd already wondered about swapping to a more local garage and this could be the right time. I'll phone them in the morning and see what they say.
