Herring Gull - Close Cut

Couldn't come up with a clever title so went for the obvious.

John was at his favourite barber's in Dumbarton before heading for the game Dumbarton V Partick Thistle , so. off course I had a wander along the quay to find a blip while he got his very short summer cut - a close cut you might say.

I also got a close cut as this herring gull came in very close to me looking for a suitable landing spot.
LARGE might be worth a look for the wing detail. I also like the way Dumbarton bridge and the high flat is hibted at in the out of focus background and reflection.

Also a close cut game with the final result 4-3 to the jag. Not a bad result for us . Our new signings are looking good and all 7 goals were good , particularly an absolute cracker from way out for Partick, straight and deadly , no way it was being saved. Even the Dumbarton fans applauded that beauty.

Roll on the start of the season. really looking forward to some very exciting games.
