A thriller of a last day of the first Ashes test in Trent Bridge, Nottingham! This test match had everything, so many ups and downs, momentum swings and in the end there was hardly anything between England and Australia. So England go 1 up in the Ashes, bring on Lords! This series promises to be a cracker!

Then a monumental performance by Chris Froome of Team Sky in the Tour de France! To win the Mont Ventoux stage in such style, sent out a message to his rivals, and more importantly put more time into them.

Now for a bit of rugby league!
