Cycling along the Rhein

We all hired bikes this morning ... very cheap (I thought?) at 10euros each for the whole day ... and planned a route along the Rhein.

Managed to do a circular trip: by going down the left bank; crossing over (with bikes) on a small passenger ferry to Zundorf on the right bank; then back up to Cologne; and over again to the left bank via the Deutzer Brucke.

I have to say - much as Munich was stunning - Cologne is somewhat stealing the show now ... just looking wonderful in all this glorious sunshine; and the scenery along the river was just marvellous.
