A New Day

Suffolk Pargeting

This is an example of the delightful decorative plasterwork, some dating from the 17th century, which is to be found in many of the towns and villages in Suffolk. The photo shows a very pretty section above a shop in Hadleigh, a small town with almost 250 listed properties, one of which used to be owned by my daughter and her husband. We went back today to have a look at their old house (15th century old!!) and admire the town again.

Another very hot day today and - dare I say it - a spot or two of rain would not come amiss:-) You can sometimes have too much of a good thing!
